Driven by a passion for community, fitness, and family-centered growth — Brian and Amanda Walsh built Apogee Gahanna to give young leaders a different kind of education.

With a vision for community and personal growth, Brian has dedicated the last 10 years to transforming lives as the owner of CrossFit Gahanna. His commitment to making fitness enjoyable and accessible shines through in the supportive environment he cultivates within the gym.

Now, Brian and his wife Amanda are channeling that same dedication into Apogee Gahanna — an educational center designed for the whole family to explore personal development.

We are committed to helping families grow together — which is why we also offer programs designed to foster strong family bonds and align individual and collective goals.

We approach discipline as a team with parents, focusing on positive reinforcement, accountability, clear expectations, and open communication. We encourage self-governance and conflict resolution skills, while maintaining consistency and fairness.
We honor and support families of all faiths and beliefs. While we are not a religious or faith-based school, we value time for personal reflection and encourage leaders to develop their own sense of purpose and character.
Yes — we organize field trips to enhance learning and provide real-world experiences. Field trips are carefully selected to align with curriculum goals and offer students the chance to explore outside the campus.
We believe in the importance of outdoor activity for student well-being. Our schedule includes ample outdoor time — whether it's during recess, outdoor classrooms, or nature walks — ensuring students remain active and engaged.
We do not provide daily lunches; however, students are welcome to bring lunch from home. We also have a partnership with Fit Fresh, allowing families to order meals that are delivered directly to our location for the week.
True learning is about mastery, not memorization. We use a variety of tools to assess progress — including mastery-based advancement, digital portfolios, project showcases, guided reflections, and one-on-one feedback from our coaches.
